House on a Chain offers a private sourcing service for those searching for a particular piece — whether it’s a rare runway item, a hard-to-find archival design, or a garment you’ve been thinking about for years.

Each request is treated individually and carefully considered. When a suitable piece is located, it will be authenticated, evaluated for condition and presented to you before purchase.

Because vintage exists in limited quantities, some requests may take time to find — and occasionally a piece may never appear again. That is part of what makes these garments so special.

How the Sourcing Process Works

Submit a request
Share as much detail as possible about the piece you are searching for — brand, era, size, colour, or reference images.
Search & verification
House on a Chain searches across trusted vintage dealers, collectors and archival resale markets.
Piece presented for approval
Once a suitable piece is found, you will receive images, details and final pricing before any purchase is made.
Secure purchase & delivery
After approval, the item is purchased and delivered to you through House on a Chain.

Sourcing Fee

Successful sourcing requests are subject to a 15–20% sourcing fee (minimum £50), applied only once a piece has been located and approved for purchase.
